Does anybody know the location of Fort Genois? It is believed (but not for sure) that it should be close to Lille.http://images.mesdiscussions.net/pages14-18/mesimages/2513/Lille Genois mit Fort.jpg

Alain thankfully has referred the question to a French language forum here. and as far as I have understand the town picture which was only posted in the GWF forum is actually not Genois as the author of the original photographs has suggested, but it is Le Quesnoy indeed. So the question continues where (and what name) is the fort named Genois and which is depicted here with winter scene (snow)? I will add another pic that says 'Genois' and is most likely also misidentified by the original photographer:http://images.mesdiscussions.net/pages14-18/mesimages/2513/Lille Fort Genois.jpg1..jpg
